If you are planning to have the ceremony here, depending on the weather you could get married on the dock with the beautiful lake as your backdrop, or inside in front of one of our cozy fireplaces.  |  | Chef Harvey Cross oversees every detail, from the hors d'oeuvres, dressings, sauces, soups, and entrées to the desserts, even the chocolate truffles. We can arrange an extraordinary fine dining experience that you won’t forget and that will accommodate your budget. To give you an idea of prices please see our sample menus. We encourage you to make any suggestions and ask for any changes you think will enhance your experience. We also have vegetarian entrees and can accommodate special needs such as lactose or gluten free dishes. |
Our prices include the use of the restaurant, facilities and grounds. The restaurant opens up to a large garden area beside the restaurant, which you are more than welcome to use. We set aside the restaurant for your exclusive use that night. You would be responsible for the costs of whatever supplies they want to bring in, such as, flowers, special linens, etc. We also offer the use of this website for all our wedding couples at no additional cost. Be sure to check it out below. We do this to make weddings here even more fun for our couples, to spread the good wishes and announce pertinent information. We have individual pages that would include pictures of you and a welcome note from you to your guests; photos and brief notes about each of the people in your wedding party; a guestbook that people can sign to let you know they've stopped by and to leave any comments or questions they might have; and an itinerary, so you can let the guests know what, where and when things are happening. | The Norsemen is the perfect place for destination weddings. We have seven cottages that can accommodate up to 32 people. In the Spring or Fall, if you booked all of them you would have complete privacy and full access to the whole property, including the beach, canoes, kayaks etc. We can make arrangements for the summer as well. You and your guests would have a great vacation as well as enjoying your beautiful wedding. We would be happy to offer you special rates on the cottages and give you your honeymoon night on the house. We can provide a list of other cottage resorts, motels, hotels and bed and breakfasts in the area from 5 to 50 minutes away. | |  |
